Luke Murray
is a multi-instrumentalist specializing in guitar from Milwaukee. He is currently in his 2nd semester at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. He plays and sings in a multitude of genres including, rock, jazz/fusion, pop, and gospel. Luke has years of studio experience, and is available for sessions. Luke is always looking for new opportunities to perform, record, teach, and collaborate, so feel free to reach out using the bookings page.
Bands
Luke plays with many groups that are available for events/gigs, including Hyperbolic, Sonorous, Cows in the Basement, Sandwich, and the Luke Murray Trio. He is also available for solo jazz guitar.
Teachers
Luke has had the opportunity to study with many great musician, including Jack Beyler, Neil Davis, Dick Eliot, Ben Dameron, Crystal Torres, David Fiuczynski, Oz Noy, and Rick Peckham. He also was a part of the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra Jazz Studies program for 6 years.
Venues
Luke has performed at a variety of different venues and festivals, including Summerfest, The Cactus Club, Linnenmens, Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts, Bar Centro, The Pfister, The Jazz Gallery, The Fresh Coast Jazz Festival, UW Platteville Jazz Heritage Festival, Belmont University, Wally's Jazz Cafe in Boston, as well as many different Berklee venues.
